Promotion chasing Rochdale were denied a fifth successive win as Michael Twiss scored an injury-time equaliser to earn mid-table Morecambe a draw.

Will Buckley showed great composure to finish neatly after Morecambe failed to properly clear Nicky Adams' cross.

Rochdale failed to clear a last-minute corner and Twiss was on hand to turn the ball into the net.

Morecambe keeper Barry Roche had earlier saved on the line from Lee Thorpe, who had been found by Adams.
