Macclesfield and Notts County shared the spoils with Matty Hamshaw grabbing a second-half equaliser for the visitors in Tuesday's League Two clash.

Silkmen striker Simon Yeo made amends for wasting an earlier headed chance by pouncing on a deflected clearance to slot home his first goal since October.

After a Jamie Clapham free-kick hit the bar, Myles Weston crossed for Hamshaw who volleyed in the equaliser.

Macclesfield nearly won when a Gareth Evans shot crashed off the angle.
