A Jamie Clarke strike and a stunner from Jamie Green helped Rotherham defeat Gillingham in Saturday's clash.

The hosts grabbed a deserved lead when Dale Tonge's cross fell to on-loan striker Clarke, who lashed his shot past the helpless Simon Royce.

A late double substitution almost paid off for the Gills but Dennis Oli's ferocious drive was well saved.

After Ryan Taylor came close, Green raced almost half the length of the field before firing into the net.
