Rotherham 2-0 Macclesfield

Rotherham stopped the rot after three successive away defeats to boost their survival hopes.

The Millers took an early lead when Reuben Reid cut in from the right and crossed for Mark Hudson to fire home.

Rotherham almost crumbled in a poor second half but Macclesfield's Tom Elliott shot wide with the best chance.

Reid finally settled Rotherham's nerves when Drewe Broughton headed on a long ball from the right and Reid calmly lifted it over the goalkeeper.
