Exeter 2-1 Barnet

Goalkeeper Paul Jones saved a late penalty for Exeter as they claimed a dramatic win over strugglers Barnet.

Jones denied Michael Leary from the spot with six minutes remaining after Neil Saunders had handballed.

Exeter had taken the lead when Saunders spectacularly fired in a dipping half-volley from 40 yards.

Barnet levelled before half-time when Paul Furlong poked in John O'Flynn's pass, but Exeter hit back with Matt Gill stroking in Steve Basham's pass.
