Bury stayed in the top three after a 1-0 win over promotion rivals Bradford.

The hosts had the better of a hard-fought first half with Bradford keeper Rhys Evans doing well to deny Andy Morrell and Mike Jones.

Bury kept up the pressure after the restart, with Morrell heading wide and Andy Bishop being denied by Evans after being put through by Elliott Bennett.

With 14 minutes to go, Morrell finally hit the target, cutting in from the left and shooting inside the near post.
