Top scorer John O'Flynn rattled the crossbar as Barnet drew at home to promotion-chasing Shrewsbury Town.
The goalless draw leaves Barnet with a record of 10 home league goals, the worst in League Two.
Irish striker O'Flynn missed two good chances in the first half as well as hitting the crossbar 10 minutes before the half-time interval.
Steven Leslie wasted a good chance for the visitors before Barnet's Albert Adomah had a late shot well saved.
Shrewsbury manager Paul Simpson told BBC Radio Shropshire: " I think it's been a good performance, I don't think there's a hell of a lot wrong with it apart from we didn't get a goal out of it.
"We didn't finish the opportunities off", he added.
