Morecambe came away from Chesterfield with only their second away win of the season to increase the pressure on Spireites manager Lee Richardson.

Fans called for Richardson to resign as his team gifted Morecambe the win.

Rene Howe's diving header in the 54th minute gave the visitors the lead, only for home debutant Martin Gritton to level with an 18-yard drive.

Morecambe sealed their win in the 65th minute when Craig Stanley guided in a Neil Wainwright cross from close range.
