Darlington hit three goals in as many first-half minutes to thrash Luton.
Rob Purdie opened the scoring from the spot after a foul by George Bevan, and Liam Hatch headed in a second.
Hatch netted a third when he fired home and Neil Austin fired a left-foot effort into the bottom corner, before Chris Martin pulled one back.
There was only further goal in the second half and that came from Gregg Blundell, who drilled in Pawel Abbott's cross from the right flank.
