The Bees took the lead when John O'Flynn slotted home Albert Adomah's cross but the visitors responded well.
Sam Saunders shot at Ran Kadoch and Ben Strevens headed wastefully wide before Nwokeji slotted home the equaliser.
Barnet's Michael Leary was sent off for a second yellow card but Mark Arber wasted a late chance to win it for Dagenham when he headed over.
