Substitute Steve Thompson hit a last-minute winner for 10-man Port Vale.

Danny Glover put Vale ahead after 74 minutes when he tapped in an Anthony Griffiths cross but he was then sent off for a late tackle on Tom Kennedy.

Adam Le Fondre equalised from the penalty spot with eight minutes left after he was upended by Luke Prosser.

Vale were then hanging on for a point before Thompson smashed a shot against a post from Dave Brammer's pass and reacted first to put away the rebound.
