Rotherham 1-0 Port Vale

Drewe Broughton's second half goal secured victory for lowly Rotherham against Port Vale.

The hosts had been reduced to 10 men after 24 minutes when defender Marc Joseph was sent off for a professional foul on Kyle Perry.

Earlier Richard Barker failed to connect with Jamie Green's cross wasting a golden opportunity.

But Broughton made sure, latching onto Ian Sharps' long punt and lifting the ball over Joe Anyon for 1-0.
