Wycombe widened the gap at the top of League Two thanks to Matt Harrold's goal in the second half.

The goal came 10 minutes after the break when goalkeeper Luke Daniels failed to deal with Gary Holt's corner and Harrold bundled in the ball.

Wycombe's Lewis Hunt rattled in a shot and then Kelvin Langmead cleared off the line from Simon Church.

Shrewsbury put Wycombe under pressure in the final 10 minutes, winning many corners but failing to break through.
