Paul Benson scored twice to take his tally for the season to 15, as Dagenham comfortably beat Macclesfield.

Dagenham went ahead after just four minutes when Magnus Okuonghae got down the left and crossed for Benson who finished well from close range.

Salomon Taiwo lashed in an unstoppable shot from 25 yards three minutes later and Benson tapped home after Jon Brain had parried out Okuonghae's shot.

Four minutes into the second half Sam Saunders finished well inside the box.
