Sean Canham's strike handed Notts County their first home victory in two months as they edged past Morecambe.
Morecambe's Danny Carlton and Fraser McLachlan had chances early on before County's John Thompson blocked two further efforts.
The hosts took the lead when Canham stabbed in from close range after Delroy Facey headed the ball down.
Facey hit the bar as County pressed, while Craig Stanley and Carlton went close to an equaliser for Morecambe.
