Nathan Elder's sixth goal of the season kept Brentford's promotion push on track at Luton.

Elder headed home from six yards after 29 minutes following good work from on-loan striker Dean Bowditch.

Luton keeper Conrad Logan saved brilliantly from Bowditch and Ryan Dickson as Brentford pressed.

Brentford were threatened by long-range efforts from Paul McVeigh and Asa Hall, before Luton had Keith Keane sent off late on for fouling Charlie MacDonald.
