Chesterfield 2-2 Shrewsbury

Shrewsbury missed out on the chance to go top of League Two when they let slip a two-goal lead against Chesterfield.

Grant Holt opened the scoring from the penalty spot after he had been fouled by Rob Page and he doubled the lead with a shot into the top left corner.

But Chesterfield pulled one back when keeper Glynn Garner palmed a Darren Currie shot into his net.

Jamie Ward levelled from the penalty spot after a foul on Jack Lester, who then almost won it with a curling shot.
