Morecambe 2-0 Aldershot

Morecambe claimed their first win in 10 games thanks to two second half goals against Aldershot on Saturday.

Stewart Drummond scored the opener, drilling the ball past Nikki Bull after fine work from on-loan Manchester City teenager Ryan McGivern down the left.

The visitors had their chances with keeper Barry Roche stopping John Grant's penalty and Ben Harding hitting the crossbar from 30 yards.

McGivern slotted home the second goal following up Wayne Curtis's saved shot.
