Ravenhill volleyed the decisive goal against one of his former clubs

Early goals from Billy Clarke and Ricky Ravenhill helped Darlington to victory and left struggling Grimsby without a league win in 22 matches.

Clarke cheekily backheeled Rob Purdie's mis-hit shot into the net and ex-Grimsby player Ravenhill then scored a great goal against his former club.

Matt Heywood cleared a corner to the midfielder, who volleyed home from the edge of the penalty area.

Jean-Paul Kalala pulled a goal back by firing into the bottom corner.
