Matthew Gill's sixth goal of the season stretched Exeter's unbeaten run to seven games as they overcame Barnet.

Matt Taylor and Dean Moxey went close for the visitors before Barnet's Michael Townsend headed just over.

Adam Stansfield then fired wide before rattling the bar 10 minutes later and Bees substitute Luke Medley blazed over when well placed.

Gill broke the deadlock when he latched on to Marcus Stewart's pinpoint cross to smash the ball past Lee Harrison.
