Grimsby 0-1 Barnet

Barnet earned their first win of the season after Neal Bishop's strike was enough to defeat Grimsby.

The home side almost took the lead when Tom Newey fired a free-kick just over before the visitors almost took the lead when Albert Adomah headed wide.

Bishop opened the scoring from close range before Bees striker Cliff Akurang saw his header just clear the crossbar.

Malvin Kamara went close for Grimsby late on with a 20-yard volley which was well held by goalkeeper Lee Harrison.
