Lincoln arrived late at Griffin Park and then left with a point, courtesy of Adrian Patulea's equaliser.

Kick-off was held up for 40 minutes because Lincoln were delayed and Nathan Elder slammed in from the edge of the box to put Brentford ahead.

But Romanian Patulea capitalised on a moment of hesitation to race on to a ball over the Bees defence and fire home a rasping low drive from 15 yards.

Lincoln's Dany N'Guessan was denied by goalkeeper Ben Hamer near the end.
