Bradford shook off the disappointment of two defeats in a week with a stylish display as they beat a gutsy Port Vale.
Lee Bullock fired a left-foot shot beyond home goalkeeper Joe Anyon's dive to open the scoring in the 17th minute.
And Bradford landed the killer blow with Peter Thorne's sixth goal of the season 14 minutes from time, the striker drilling in from 20 yards.
At the other end Vale were restricted to half chances, as Bradford moved into second spot in the table with victory.
