A three-goal first-half salvo inspired Bury to a second straight win this term as Chesterfield slumped at home.

The visitors took a grip on the game in the fourth minute when Ben Futcher fired in a fine overhead kick, and then Efe Sodje grabbed a superb solo goal.

Andy Morrell made it 3-0 on 40 minutes following a neat passing move.

Lloyd Kerry reduced Chesterfield's arrears from 12 yards on 53 minutes but, with striker Jack Lester off injured, the hosts could not hit back.
