Steve Evans rescued a point for League Two bottom side Wrexham against fellow strugglers Macclesfield, but the Dragons remain seven points adrift.
Jamie Tolley seized on a poor Evans clearance to rifle Macclesfield ahead from the edge of the box on 52 minutes.
Evans made amends when the big centre back connected with Mike's Proctor cross to convert with a looping header.
But while the point could prove vital for Macclesfield in their battle, things now look bleak for Wrexham.
