Notts County produced a spirited defensive display to hold title-chasing Peterborough at London Road.
But despite their heroics the Magpies fell further towards the League Two relegation zone.
County were rarely troubled as Posh failed to turn dominance into goals but keeper Russell Hoult did deny George Boyd and Charlie Lee.
At the other end Posh keeper Joe Lewis made a fine late save from Michael Johnson's point-blank header.
