Dagenham & Redbridge eased to their first home win in two months with an emphatic performance against Chester. Ben Strevens opened the scoring on 13 minutes and Anwar Uddin doubled the lead two minutes later with header before Dave Rainford added the third.
Kevin Roberts pulled a goal back for Chester on 50 minutes, but Strevens hit a fine volley on the hour and Jon Nurse headed in the fifth on 83 minutes.
John Murphy scored a consolation for Chester before Ryan Hall's late strike.
