A late equaliser from James Constable earned Shrewsbury a draw at Brentford. The Shrews substitute struck with almost his first kick after coming on as his deflected cross-shot rolled in off the far post.
Brentford's Alan Connell had broken the deadlock after 57 minutes when he curled home from 12 yards.
The hosts finished the strongest and only a goal-line save from Glynn Garner and Ben Herd's block on the line salvaged a point for Shrewsbury.
