Lincoln beat Stockport to climb off the foot of the League Two table. Liam Dickinson and David Poole both had chances for County but Lincoln led with two Ben Wright goals in three minutes.
Wright opened the scoring when he pounced after Conrad Logan could only parry Dany N'Guessan's cross, and he volleyed his second from eight yards.
Dickinson pulled a goal back despite County having Adam Proudlock sent off for a lunge on Paul Green but Lenell John-Lewis sealed the Imps' victory.
