Leaders MK Dons brushed aside the challenge of fellow high-flyers Chester with an impressive away victory. The visitors took a first-half lead when Aaron Wilbraham squared the ball to Mark Wright who side-footed home.
MK Dons' doubled their lead in the 64th minute when Lloyd Dyer crossed to Jemal Johnson who arrived to poke the ball home via the woodwork.
With 14 minutes left Wright handled the ball in the box, but Simon Yeo's penalty was saved by Willie Gueret.
