Wrexham ended a run of six successive defeats in all competitions to claim a crucial victory at the Racecourse and climb off the bottom of the table.

Adie Moses fouled Marc Williams to concede an early penalty, but Alan Marriott saved Neil Roberts' strike.

In a rare moment of quality after the break, Williams curled in a spectacular shot from the edge of the box.

To compound Lincoln's woes, Gary Croft was sent off on the hour for a second bookable offence.
