A brace from Keith Andrews and an injury-time strike from Jemal Johnson secured an easy away win for MK Dons. Andrews' swerving 35-yard drive broke the deadlock and the visitors went further ahead when Andrews slotted home Johnson's cross with 11 minutes left.
The scoreline was given a realistic look deep into injury time when Johnson curled home a beauty into the top right corner from the edge of the box.
John Mousinho had an effort cleared off the line but MK Dons were home and dry.
