Colin Cameron equalised in the dying seconds to rescue a point for MK Dons on Paul Ince's return to Macclesfield. Ince's new side took the lead after 19 minutes when Keith Andrews's 25-yard drive crashed in off the post.
Francis Green equalised with a skilful lob, and his team-mate Martin Gritton scored within three minutes of his debut to put the home team ahead.
Green's superb second goal put Macc clear but Leon Knight's volley and Cameron's effort ensured the draw.
