Paul Mullin's second-half strike completed the perfect smash-and-grab raid for Accrington at Wycombe. Wycombe dominated throughout, but missed the cutting edge of last season's leading scorer Jermain Easter, who was out through suspension.
Accrington went ahead after 57 minutes when John Miles' corner was flicked home by striker Mullin.
Wycombe substitute Stefan Oakes' rasping drive hit the side netting late on as Accrington held on.
