Football League new-boys Morecambe claimed their a point after a battling goalless draw against Barnet. Sammy McIlroy's side had debutant keeper Joe Lewis to thank for a superb save from Anthony Thomas' curling effort six minutes from time.
Morecambe's Michael Twiss had missed a great chance after three minutes when he fired straight at Lee Harrison.
Garry Hunter shot over in the second half, while Michael Leary and Adam Birchall went close for Barnet.
