Shrewsbury made a stunning start to their League Two campaign as they ravaged Lincoln at Sincil Bank with a sensational second-half performance. Shrews took the lead on 53 minutes as Andy Cooke converted a cross from Darren Moss.
Four minutes later, Dave Hibbert outpaced Lincoln's young defender Phil Watt before firing home.
Cooke then converted Pugh's cross before Steve Leslie slotted home from close range to make it 4-0.
