Macclesfield preserved their Football League with a tension-filled draw against Notts County at Moss Rose. John Miles slotted Macclesfield in front from close range, but Matt McNeil and Danny Swailes missed first-half chances to wrap up the points.
They paid for their wastefulness when Andy Parkinson latched on to a long ball to score past Tommy Lee.
Lee's save denied Gary Silk, but Swailes missed another chance to win it for Macclesfield when he headed over.
