Hartlepool confirmed promotion to League One after Richard Barker's goal sealed a hard-earned win at Wycombe. Barker's diving header on 81 minutes was enough to send the 850 fans who made the journey into delirium.
Jermaine Easter had chances in either half to improve Wycombe's own prospects of promotion but could not convert.
Hartlepool have suffered one defeat in the last 27 matches - the Easter Saturday defeat at Barnet ending a remarkable 24-match unbeaten run.
