Wrexham 1-1 Hartlepool

Llewellyn proved the saviour for Wrexham
A second-half equaliser from Chris Llewellyn gave Wrexham caretaker manager Brian Carey his first point.

The Dragons had been stunned by news that midfielder Darren Ferguson had become the new Peterborough manager.

Richard Barker gave Hartlepool an early lead, seizing on James Brown's set up from the left to fire in from 12 yards.

A poor clearance fell to Ryan Valentine, though, whose excellent pass found Matt Done, the midfielder's low cross blasted home by Llewellyn.
