Adam Le Fondre crashed home four goals for Stockport as hapless visitors Wrexham shipped five goals for the second match in succession. The floodgates opened with two Stockport goals in the 24th minute.
Mark Robinson struck a penalty after Gareth Evans' foul on Le Fondre, who quickly scored from a poor back-pass.
Two Danny Williams pile-drivers, either side of Le Fondre's cool second, kept Wrexham in touch but Le Fondre hit two more, both from Tesfaye Bramble passes.
