Notts County avoided relegation from League Two but their dramatic draw against Bury was irrelevant as Oxford dropped out of the Football League. But with five minutes to go Oxford were drawing and had they won, County would have needed a point to stay up.
Dwayne Mattis headed Bury ahead and Tom Youngs fired home Paul Scott's pass to make it 2-0 with nine minutes left.
But Daniel Martin pulled a goal back and Julien Baudet's penalty levelled the scores in the last minute.
