Conference champions Chester travel to Notts County on 7 August, the opening day of the new League Two season. The other promoted Conference side, play-off winners Shrewsbury, start at home to Lincoln.
The Imps will be keen to start strongly and put their end-of-season play-off disappointment behind them.
Mansfield and Northampton also missed out on promotion. The Stags open at home to Bristol Rovers while the Cobblers face a trip to Swansea.
