The Daggers had a strong claim for a penalty turned down when Lee Peltier appeared to handball early on.
And the Terriers led when Tom Clarke poked home Joey Gudjonsson's drilled shot across goal.
But the home side battled back, Danny Green scoring a penalty after Peltier was penalised for handling in the box.
