New signing Bradley Wright-Phillips fired Charlton Athletic into the League One play-off places with a second goal in as many games for the Addicks.
Wright-Phillips steered in Johnnie Jackson's corner on 63 minutes to earn his new side their third straight win.
The hosts should have taken the lead earlier but Jackson saw a free-kick well saved by Stephen Henderson and then headed wide from a corner.
Paul Huntington wasted Yeovil's best chance, heading over from a corner.
Wright-Phillips also netted the only goal of the game on his Addicks debut in Tuesday's controversial 1-0 win over Colchester United.
Charlton manager Chris Powell told BBC London 94.9: "It was a great result for us and a great result for our fans, especially the ones that came here and the ones that were listening.
"I told the players afterwards that good teams and teams that want to progress are built from the back and build on clean sheets.
"We weren't at the races at all in the first half, I raised my voice a little bit at half-time and they responded."
