An injury-time goal from debutant Elliot Benyon gave Swindon a much-needed point against Rochdale.
Dale came close to opening the scoring when Will Atkinson's header from Jason Kennedy's cross clipped the crossbar.
The visitors took the lead with 10 minutes left when Brian Barry-Murphy's free-kick was not dealt with and Craig Dawson crashed home.
With the Robins looking set for defeat, Benyon converted neatly from David Prutton's cross.
Swindon Town manager Danny Wilson told BBC Wiltshire: "The conditions had a big bearing on the game for both teams.
"In the first half we had the momentum and the wind behind us and the second half we didn't.
"We fell victim to a very poor goal but we've battled away and got back in the game."
Rochdale manager Keith Hill told BBC Radio Manchester: "I thought the performance was near on perfect with respect to the conditions and the opposition.
"When you consider we're unbeaten since the turn of the year it does egg you on in respect of a play-off place but it's unrealistic.
"We're nowhere near safe yet and we've got to make sure we get the points that will enable us to be a League One side this time next season."
