Bournemouth skipper Jason Pearce scored a spectacular overhead kick to give the visitors all three points at Swindon.
The visitors went in front after Marc Pugh saw his spot-kick saved by Phil Smith but tapped home the rebound after Charlie Austin handled in the area.
The hosts quickly levelled, David Ball cutting back for Matt Ritchie, who rifled home a superb shot.
With the game set to finish all square Pearce acrobatically volleyed home following a long throw.
Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe told BBC Radio Solent: "(The players) are very pleased and they thoroughly deserve their win.
"It's a tough place to come, we were aggressive and defended really well throughout the game, and we possessed quality in the side.
"Second half we were excellent, I thought we dominated, without creating any clear cut chances... we can kick on now and I really believe we can achieve something."
