Walsall ended a run of six straight defeats with a goalless draw against Leyton Orient.
Orient had the better of the play in the first-half but Oliver Lancashire went closest for the visitors, as he forced Jamie Jones into a save.
The hosts upped the tempo after the break as they forced four corners in the first five minutes of the half.
Alex Revell was only denied a goal from one such set piece by a fabulous tip-over from Jon Brain.
Walsall boss Chris Hutchings told BBC WM: "It's always nice to get a point away from home and a clean sheet - we've been hankering for that.
"If you're on any bad run you've got to stop it, if you have one defeat you want to stop it, so, yes, it was important.
"It was a very hard working point and the lads are delighted. I was pleased with the performance and the effort."
