Swindon are still waiting for their first league win of the season after battling their way to a goalless draw at unbeaten Carlisle.
The Robins had the better of the first-half chances, with Charlie Austin firing across goal before Jon-Paul McGovern hit the bar with a volley.
Carlisle forced 18 corners and went close through substitute Ben Marshall.
But Swindon wasted a glorious chance to win it in stoppage time when Austin blazed over when clean through.
Carlisle United boss Greg Abbott told BBC Radio Cumbria: "It's a really well-earned point, although we haven't reached the heights in terms of football we've played.
"Swindon have come with a game plan and maybe our early season form and results have given sides an extra problem and teams are coming here now with a plan to stop us playing and to nullify our strengths.
"Honesty and hard work has got us a point, I wouldn't say the quality of our play. We had good chances and half chances we didn't make the most of."
Swindon Town boss Danny Wilson told BBC Wiltshire: "We had four great chances, maybe five if you take the first half into consideration, but we didn't finish them off.
"My biggest concern has been clean sheets and we've now had two on the belt against two very strong, attacking teams.
"In normal circumstances Charlie (Austin) would take his chances so we're not going to be critical as on another day he'll bury those."
