A controversial equaliser from Gareth Ainsworth gave struggling Wycombe a draw at promotion-chasing Colchester.
Ainsworth headed in Matt Phillips' cross from close range as the home team protested strongly for handball, thus cancelling out Ian Henderson's opener.
Henderson had scored his goal when chesting down Kem Izzet's pass to lash a fine shot into the far corner.
Dean Keates and Jon-Paul Pittman went close for Wycombe before Ainsworth headed home deep into stoppage time.
Colchester United manager Aidy Boothroyd told BBC Essex:
"He (Gareth Ainsworth) has handballed it and you can't have a go at him for that, he's got to try everything to win.
"He's done that to give the referee an opportunity to make a decision and the referee and linesman have made an absolutely abysmal decision.
"It's cost us three points, we've only got the one when we should have got all three."
