Billy Paynter scored twice as Swindon eased past struggling Oldham to climb to fifth in the League One table.
Paynter scored twice just before the break, first with a precise 20-yard strike and then a penalty after Joe Jacobson pushed Charlie Austin.
Austin converted a Paynter flick-on before Danny Ward's strike made it 4-0.
Oldham wasted several chances before substitute Joe Colbeck scored from 12 yards and Phil Smith missed a cross, allowing Jason Price to head home.
